Travel with TK ("we", "us", "our") operates the website travelwithtk.com and provides private trips in Western Sichuan, China. This page explains what personal data we collect, why, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have.
We are a small, independent service. We collect as little as we can, keep it only as long as we need it, and we do not sell it.

Who is responsible. The data controller is TKChang, operating under the name "Travel with TK". You can reach us at samantha@travelwithtk.com.
This policy is published in English. If we make it available in other languages, the English version governs.
1. What we collect
We collect only the following, and only where it is relevant to your enquiry, your booking or your trip:

Our website. Our website is a static information site. It has no enquiry form, no booking system and no advertising or analytics trackers. We do not set advertising cookies. The only information processed when you visit the site is described in Section 3.
Payments. Payments are handled by PayPal. We do not receive or store your card or bank details; PayPal processes them under its own privacy policy.
2. Why we use your data, and our legal basis

We do not use your data for marketing without your consent, we do not sell it, and we do not use it for any other purpose.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses the minimum it needs to work:

Language suggestion. When you open the site, we may suggest a language based on the country indicated by your IP address (and, if that is unclear, your browser's language setting), so that you see the site in a likely-relevant language. This happens at the network edge: we do not store your IP address, we do not build a profile, and we use it only to choose a language. Search-engine crawlers are not redirected.
We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. Because we set no tracking cookies, we do not currently show a cookie banner.
4. Who we share your data with
We share personal data only where it is necessary:

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone else, except where the law requires it or where you have agreed.
5. Where your data is stored and international transfers
Your data is held in China, where the trip takes place. If you are contacting us from the EU, the UK or another region, this means your data is transferred to and processed in China.
We keep sensitive documents (such as passport or health information) in local storage and do not put them on overseas cloud services. Messages you choose to send through services such as WhatsApp or email are also processed by those providers, under their own terms and in their own locations.
6. How long we keep it

7. Your rights
You may, at any time:
- ask to see the data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate;
- ask us to delete your data;
- withdraw a consent you have given (for example, for your health data or for the use of your photos);
- object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing;
- ask for a copy of your data in a portable form.
To exercise any of these, write to us at samantha@travelwithtk.com. We will respond without undue delay and in any event within 30 days. If you are in the EU or the UK and believe we have not handled your data correctly, you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your data — including limiting who can access it and keeping only a single, minimal copy — and we delete it when it is no longer needed.
9. Children
Our trips are arranged for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its date, is always the one published on this page.
